
Child Center Family Wellness Centers Are CCBHCs
The Macari Family Wellness Center has been designated as a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) by the New York State Department of Health. CCBHCs are nationally recognized models of care, designed to increase access to comprehensive mental health and substance use services, with a strong focus on integration and inclusivity.
As a CCBHC, the Macari Family Wellness Center provides a comprehensive range of person-centered and trauma-informed behavioral health and substance use disorder services for individuals with diverse needs. Our caring and qualified staff help people build resilience, develop social-emotional skills, work through trauma, improve self-esteem, and develop coping skills that will help them handle challenges now and in the future. We help each individual and family through a range of issues so they can overcome the challenges they face and reach their full potential. Our focus is on your goals and your strengths so you and your family can build the life you always knew you could achieve.
CCBHC Provides:

Who Do CCBHCs Serve?
CCBHCs serve anyone who requests care for mental health or substance use, regardless of place of residence or age. The CCBHC strives to deliver integrated and holistic behavioral health services, making it easier for individuals to receive the necessary support without having to deal with multiple providers.

Outpatient Counseling for Mental Health & Substance Use Issues, focused on cultural competency and multi-lingual accessibility
Ages accepted: All ages, newborn-adult
Admission criteria: Must have a mental health diagnosis.
Languages spoken: English, Bengali, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, Romanian, Spanish, and others
Public transportation: Subway–7 train to 52 St. LIRR–Woodside Station (10-15-minute walk). Bus–Q32 to Roosevelt Ave/51 St, Bus—Q60 to Queens Blvd. and 52nd Street.

Admission criteria: Current or past history of substance use disorder or mental health concerns or being affected by someone else's substance use. Serves parents whose substance use may be interfering with their ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children.
