Child Center Family Wellness Centers Are CCBHCs
The Child Center of NY’s three family wellness centers in Queens—Cohen Family Wellness Center in Woodside; Jamaica Family Wellness Center; and Macari Family Wellness Center in Flushing—have been designated as Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) by the New York State Office of Mental Health and Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). CCBHCs are nationally recognized models of care, designed to increase access to comprehensive mental health and substance use services, with a strong focus on integration and inclusivity.
As CCBHCs, our wellness centers provide a comprehensive range of person-centered and trauma-informed behavioral health and substance use disorder services for individuals with diverse needs. Our caring and qualified staff help people build resilience, develop social-emotional skills, work through trauma, improve self-esteem, and develop coping skills that will help them handle challenges now and in the future. We help each individual and family through a range of issues so they can overcome the challenges they face and reach their full potential. Our focus is on your goals and your strengths so you and your family can build the life you always knew you could achieve.
