Black History Month: Team Spotlights

In observance of Black History Month, Child Center programs organization-wide set aside time to honor the icons who shaped history, the unsung heroes whose impact we are only just beginning to uncover, and the living legacy of the brave souls who came before us. We also acknowledge that Black history is not only something we look back on. It is something we study, live, build, and nurture every day.
This Black History Month, we are celebrating modern-day Black leaders right here at The Child Center who live our mission year-round. Their leadership may not make headlines, but it is felt in the present in community centers, schools, homes, and the very fabric of our city. We are grateful to have their example and their wisdom as they guide and ignite the leaders of tomorrow.
