Is it us, or does this child really, really want to know what the grizzly knows?

This sweet baby and his mom are clients of The Child Center of NY’s Macari Perinatal Intensive Outpatient Program. Located at our Macari Family Wellness Center in Flushing, this program provides a safe and welcoming place where pregnant and new parents can access mental health support and build confidence to become the healthy, loving parents they aspire to be.

We thought we’d share this heartwarming photo in honor of Maternal Mental Health Month. It perfectly captures the beauty of the parent-baby relationship, and how everyday moments are part of what makes it so special.

We hope this little guy finds out what the grizzly knows, and that it meets his expectations! We foresee a lifetime of inquisitive reading, exploration, discovery, and a close, enduring bond with Mom, his very first teacher.
