FAVORITE PART OF THE JOB:
Working with our funding sources to expand and maintain our programs, educating the community and doing outreach that allows us to help people who in the past felt too stigmatized by therapy to seek the help they so desperately need.

HOW THE CHILD CENTER HELPS TURN LIVES AROUND:
We’ve made a major dent in helping new immigrants who in their struggle to make an adjustment to a new culture, bring with them many other family issues. We help give them the emotional support and the tools to manage the stress that comes with the significant changes in their lives. When we opened our second clinic in Flushing, an Asian hub, we made our services even more accessible to the nearly 1,000 families we serve each year.
