The Hank Auffarth Family Center

Hank Auffarth worked tirelessly for more than 30 years to help the children served by The Child Center of NY. While his life was cut too short, he left behind a charitable legacy that few people could achieve in many life times. To honor and recognize his memory and dedication to hundreds of thousands of at-risk kids, The Child Center will soon open, in his name, a new suite of offices in Elmhurst, Queens, which will house two critical programs – Child Abuse Prevention and Asian Outreach. Both were key priorities of Hank's during his work with The Child Center and the demand for these services, now and in the future will continue to grow.
