Give Monthly
Donate monthly in an amount you’ll barely miss, and it will add up to something big. Here are a couple of examples.
- Over the course of a year, a mere $20 a month will fill the funding gap that allows one abused child to receive therapy and healing.
- Give $167 a month, and you could change an entire family’s life by enabling us to enroll a young child in Head Start. This early childhood education program helps preschoolers arrive at kindergarten ready to succeed, while also providing daycare so parents can work and lift their families out of poverty.

Sponsor a Child
Please help us close the funding gap between government support and the real costs of helping children. With a donation of $250 you can take a child off our waiting list and into the supportive environment of The Child Center.
Give a Better Gift
At holiday or birthday time, when a material gift doesn’t feel right, consider making a donation to help troubled children in the name of your friend or family. Even at your own birthday party, you can ask people not to bring gifts, but rather to make a donation.
Make a Tribute
You can also memorialize someone special by making a gift in his or her name, while supporting children at the same time. We are happy to send a special acknowledgement to the family of the person being honored. You will have an opportunity at the end of the transaction to indicate for whom your tribute is made and other details.
Consider Planned Giving
Through planned giving, you can help children for future generations and make a gift that will cost nothing during your lifetime. Name The Child Center as a beneficiary in your trust, life insurance policy, or retirement plan. Talk to our specialists, and we will help you design a personalized plan that combines present and future gifts, helps your tax status, and creates a philanthropic legacy that will be an inexhaustible resource and a source of pride for your family and generations to come.

Donating to a charity like The Child Center can lower your taxes. In most cases, if you give stocks and bonds that are worth more today than what you originally paid, you can take a tax deduction for the full current value--while not having to declare any capital gains. This can create significant savings. The Child Center is able to accept electronic transfers of securities.
Make a Corporate Matching Gift
Many employers have matching gift programs that will multiply your contribution to The Child Center. If your company has a matching gift program, please forward the appropriate paperwork, and we will complete and return it.
