- Senior Project Director: Paulette Diggs, LCSW spotlight
paulettediggs@childcenterny.org - Hours: Mon-Fri, 10 AM- 6 PM, Thurs: 10-8 PM
- Services provided: Vocational program for young adults, aged 16-21, who have problems with academics, interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, legal issues, home or family life. Program offers GED preparation, vocational assessment, job readiness workshops, paid internships, job placement, computer training and supportive counseling.
- Special services: Jobnet offers a 6 week job training workshop. Participants are paid a stipend after completion & then placed in an Internship to earn $7 per hour
- Ages accepted: 16-21
- Admission criteria: Must be between the ages of 16 and 21 and have serious emotional and/or behavioral issues. Must be assessed for a clinical diagnosis or have current evaluation & physical
- Languages spoken: English, Spanish
